Mark Silagy is Senior Vice President of Strategic Programs for the Travel Industry Group at Sabre. Sabre is the world's leading provider of information technology solutions to the travel industry.

Silagy's responsibilities include world-wide customer service and support for the Sabre Travel Network business, and providing business process consulting, infrastructure and technology support to Sabre Holdings business units to maximise operational efficacy. Silagy's team numbers over 800 and is based in 12 countries on 3 continents.

Previously, Silagy was vice president of Global Accounts where he was responsible for managing all aspects of Sabre Travel Networks' business relationships with large Global Travel Management companies such as American Express, Carlson Wagonlit, and BCD.  Prior to that, Silagy held positions in product development and in numerous international markets.  International assignments held include:

Silagy's 32 year travel industry career also includes 13 years in management positions with American Airlines in passenger sales, airport operations, cargo and flight service operations.

Silagy earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
