Sabre® Cars is a powerful rental car product line that enables travel agencies to obtain the most advantageous car rental rate for their clients, increase their productivity and provide the most cost-effective process to make car rental reservations. The system provides rates, availability and product information for more than 37 car rental companies in more than 150 different country destinations. In addition, it offers the ability to search by geo-coordinates. Sabre Travel Network was the first to launch Car Total Pricing, which allows the traveler to know the total cost of the car rental, including all taxes and fees.
Sabre Direct Connect Availability connectivity
Sabre® Direct Connect AvailabilitySM connectivity enables travel consultants to compare rates and availability directly from car company’s in-house host systems. With direct connection to the Sabre system, Direct Connect Availability allows consultants to receive descriptions of rate rules by product. In addition, tailored marketing responses can be delivered directly from the car company, to further promote car rental sales.
Sabre Direct Connect Sell connectivity
Sabre® Direct Connect Sell is an interactive connectivity level that enables travel consultants to sell, modify, cancel and ignore processing. Direct Connect Sell provides rental car companies with one of the highest levels of connectivity to the Sabre system. In addition this feature provides an automatic response to reservations messages prior to a travel consultant ending the transaction.
