Features

Available via all Sabre system platforms and channels, the AnswerBack connectivity level returns your airline’s internal system record locator to users as the method of confirming that a sell request was received. When inventory is not available, your system will be able to send “unable to sell” or “unable to confirm” messages.

Through this premium functionality, you will increase your customer service levels and revenue-enhancing capabilities. AnswerBack produces a direct reduction in message rejects, which streamlines the booking process. Phone calls to the airlines are reduced, freeing sales agents to concentrate on revenue-producing calls.

To participate in the AnswerBack connectivity, carriers must:

  • Support AIRIMP standard teletype messaging
  • Be a Full Availability participant
  • Sign the Total Access Optional Services Addendum
