Description

Revenue Advantage is the industry’s first automated service fee solution. Today, two versions of the Revenue Advantage product are available.

The Sabre® system version of Revenue Advantage is available free to all North America-based Sabre ConnectedSM travel agencies. This version allows for one default service fee to be assigned via your TJR. You can use standard Sabre system formats (MISF) to apply service fees and build the appropriate accounting lines. If you wish to change the service fee amount, you can use an override format (MISF‡XSF and the amount to be charged).

The Web-hosted version of Revenue Advantage provides an automated process that establishes service fee rules in one database for your agency and your branches. Specific service fees can be generated by defining rules based on UDIDs, Statement Information or DK Number. Revenue Advantage also provides a comprehensive method for tracking and reporting service fee revenue. The Web-hosted version of Revenue Advantage can be accessed via our Agency eServices Web site.

We also offer U.S.-based agencies service fee authorization and settlement services through Card Services, a feature of both Revenue Advantage versions. With Card Services, service fees are processed by a third-party bank partner to provide cost-efficient and fully integrated service fee applications and settlement solution for our travel partners.

Features

Revenue Advantage helps you gain complete – and centralized – control of service fees, helping you to increase your service fee revenue. You’ll be assured the correct amount is being charged with each booking and that fees are collected every time.

With the Web-hosted version, your administrator can create and store – in one location – service fee specifications for all your customers. These standardized fees are easy to apply at the point-of-sale and across all branch locations. And, because the fees are processed automatically at the time of ticketing, paperwork is eliminated.

Revenue Advantage is also extremely flexible. Customize multiple fee scenarios if you desire. As for convenience, you’ll have easy access to snapshot reports that track service fee performance. With Revenue Advantage, you’ll be able to:

  • Control service fees at the regional, branch or customer level. The administrator inputs the service fee rules for each agency branch or group of branches, as well as for multiple customers with a branch or group.
  • Minimize the inconsistencies often associated with service fee collection. Centralized control helps ensure a fee is charged with each booking, and the amount assigned is correct.
  • Waive or modify fees at the point-of-sale. Revenue Advantage enables your administrators to set a high, medium or low fee so agents can modify the service fee charged at the time of booking. After ticketing, the “MISF” entry will process the electronic service fee, automatically charge the form of payment in the passenger name record (PNR) and create the accounting line to interface with your back-office system. Additionally, agents have the ability to waive the fee for certain customers.
  • Use your existing Sabre system functionality. With Revenue Advantage, there are no new scripts to learn, and there is no additional software to install.
  • Generate reports specific to service fee performance. You’ll have access to snapshot reports that show individual service fee amounts and overall service fee performance at the issuing or booking pseudo city code location. Administrators can display reports by agent ID, customer ID and pseudo city code. The reports allow you to monitor and adjust service fees at any one of these levels.

Revenue Advantage is accessible from our Agency eServices Web site and from the MySabre™ agent booking portal. Your administrator accesses a database to load client-specific information and manage (track and change) service fee rules.

Within the database, detailed customer information can be defined using pseudo city codes, customer account numbers and service fee remarks. These fields enable you to build specific service fee processes (multiple fee scenarios) for customers, groups or branches.
