IP Direct
Features
IP Direct provides access to the Sabre® system and the Internet over a single connection provided by SITA. It is designed to provide you with a lower cost TCP/IP connectivity option, while meeting your technical and business needs.
IP Direct is suitable for single-location travel agencies, regardless of size.
Because you can use a single connection to access the Sabre system and the Internet, you can reduce costs associated with retaining a separate ISP connection. You'll also enjoy boosted agent functionality with access to new booking and content tools not previously available over a x.25 circuit.

Software Requirements
- IP Direct is compatible with Sabre® for Windows® (v4.X or higher) or MySabre™.
Network Requirements
- Only IP protocol is supported with IP Direct
- Only Ethernet topology is supported
- Sabre® TravelBase® Service NetworkSM users who wish to move to an IP access solution will need to retain their X.25 circuit for their back office solution
