FEATURES

The Datasouth 242 printer is a high performing dot-matrix printer. Its’ long-life 24-pin printhead features bi-directional movement and offers you a choice of three dot-matrix print speeds to suit your requirements: high-speed draft (240 cps), draft (200 cps) and letter-quality (66 cps).

The Datasouth 242 is designed for maximum paper handling ease, with top and rear paper paths for single tractor and cut sheet paper. Useful for cut sheets, card stocks or labels, the printer features:

• First and last line printing
• Automatic paper load and park
• Forms on demand
• Paper out and jam sensing
