Each time you sell last-minute travel through Agent59 (via MySabre™ agent booking portal https://my.sabre.com or http://www.agent59.com) your account will be credited with points that you can redeem for merchandise, travel, cash or training opportunities.
Passenger Name Record (PNR) – Created automatically for you in the Sabre® system. You are notified via an e-mail advising that it’s been successfully created. Includes your reservation information (along with the record locator and Agent59 transaction number) in the e-mail.
Reporting capabilities – Access all your information from your back-office accounting systems, including a list of all your Agent59 bookings and the associated check/direct deposit information, online.
Departure options – Book from 14 days to three hours before departure.

So how do you find and book Agent59 deals? It’s simple. They’re accessible from the MySabre agent booking portal or by visiting the site at www.agent59.com. Booking is quick and easy. Step-by-step instructions walk you through the simple process of reserving the flight and hotel or car components your clients desire. Puts an end to repeated calls or time-consuming Web searches for deals. Once the booking is complete, fulfillment is automated so no follow-up is required after the sale.

An e-mail confirmation is included that is generically branded “Last-Minute Getaways”. It’s branded generically so your agency name remains the most prominent with your customers. You can choose to have the e-mail sent directly to the agent or to both the agent and the customer. The e-mail includes:

Package confirmation number, description and price
Recommendations and suggestions listed with the package in Agent59
A customer service number (the phone is answered “last-minute getaways”)

The process for booking an Agent59 getaway is easy:

1. Search for a Getaway.

Choose your client’s departure city first. To find trips from that departure city, you can search by destination, by travel dates, or even by keyword (for example, enter the word “ski” to find all ski-oriented trips). Do your preferred search from the Search panel on the right-hand side of the Agent59 site. If you are searching by destination, only available destinations from your client’s departure city will be shown, so if you don’t see a destination, it is not available at that time.

2. Choose your getaway.

Once you search, a list of available getaways will appear. Agent59 usually displays Flight and Hotel getaways first. If you haven’t already chosen travel dates, you’ll be asked to select dates.

3. Select number of travelers and hotel rooms, if applicable

All prices are per person based on double occupancy, so changing the number of travelers/rooms will change the price per person.

4. Select hotel rooms, flights, rental cars, etc., as applicable for your client’s package

5. Check Out

Give Agent59 the traveler names and client’s credit card info, as well as your agency’s info. Add your service fee (if you choose to) and designate what the fee will be per person for this particular sales transaction. Agent59 will send the confirmation e-mail (including all confirmation info – Agent59 travel is paperless, so there are no vouchers, etc.) to your e-mail address. If you also include the client’s e-mail address, Agent59 will send the confirmation e-mail to your client, also (less work for you!).

6. Once you have made a purchase, your work is done!

Agent59 handles all fulfillment.

The first time you make a booking, you’ll need to fax your agency’s W-9 to Agent59 in order to receive commission payments. Information on the W-9 process is provided on the Booking Confirmation screen.
