Sabre innovation honored for a 10th consecutive year

On September 11, Sabre was named number 26 among the InformationWeek 500 for 2012 – the 10th consecutive year we have received such recognition. This prestigious list recognizes the top 500 business technology innovators across all industries. Sabre moved up five spots on the list from 2011, and is the only travel technology company in the top 200. In addition, the Sabre Red App Centre was recognized as one of the “20 Great Ideas to Steal in 2012” across all industries.

Innovation isn’t just a buzzword to us. It’s our commitment to our customers. Sabre spends hundreds of millions of dollars annually on research and development to deliver the innovations and value our customers expect.

Our customers’ clients have high demands and expect their TMC or agency is leveraging the best and most innovative technology to serve them. That’s why we continue to reinvent how business is done. When airlines need to the ability to market and sell ancillary products, we work to make it the most efficient manner. We provided the first truly customizable agent workspace with graphical options with Sabre Red Workspace. And we are launching new capabilities in TripCase mobile, virtual meeting services and the Red App Centre, to name just a few.

It’s an honor to be recognized for our dedication to innovation, and we’re in great company. View the ranked portion of the InformationWeek 500 list here.
