We have had a long relationship with Sabre providing our ticket printers to Sabre travel agencies since 1994. In June 2000, IER acquired the travel products division of Genicom Corporation and through this acquisition provides support for the Genicom 1600 ticket printers installed in Sabre travel agencies worldwide. In September of 2000, in conjunction with Sabre, IER announced the availability of the new, high performance, highly reliable IER 577 Printer for mid to high volume agencies. The IER 577 has been a tremendous success since this introduction in September with more than 1000 units installed in Sabre travel agencies. IER would like to expand its distribution channel for its printers directly to the travel agency. Products IER 577 ATB Ticket Printer This printer has been designed to meet the specific needs of mid to high-end Sabre travel agencies. The 577 supports both ATB1 and ATB2 ticketing, mini-itinerary printing and down-line printing capabilities. The IER 577 is the industry's newest design and features a low maintenance design, high reliability and performance that is 50% faster than other high-end printers on the market. Although designed to meet the most demanding printing environment, careful detail was given to the simplicity of the printer's design making the printer user installable and easy to operate and troubleshoot. The products purchased from IER come standard with a 6 (six) month parts and labor warranty at IER's repair center. Other support options are available. Depot Repair: Factory-trained and certified technicians provide expert in-shop repair service for your printer. Turn-around time is usually two to four days in shop, with further expediting available. Advance Exchange: Whole Unit Exchange: For selected printers, we offer an advance exchange program whereby we send you a refurbished replacement unit. After receiving the replacement unit, you ship back the defective unit using the packaging and paperwork we enclose (with the RMA number on it). THIS SERVICE IS THE FASTEST WAY TO GET UP AND RUNNING AGAIN, and it is less expensive than on-site service. In addition, you will know up front what your cost will be. Spare Parts / Repair Parts: Next day and same day delivery. Standard Exchange: Power Supply Unit, printer module, main board. Shipping Notification Technical Support: We provide technical phone support for everything we sell or service. We can help you diagnose a problem over the phone and suggest the best alternative to quickly fix the problem. We might be able to suggest replacing a part, or if necessary, sending the whole unit for repair or exchange. Often, we can help you actually fix the problem over the phone.
