John Stow |
John Stow is president of Sabre Travel Network and also serves as senior vice president for Sabre Holdings. He is responsible for ensuring Sabre Travel Network meets the needs of its travel agency and corporate customer base and continually grows and enhances its leadership position.
Previously, Stow was senior vice president for Sabre Holdings and president of travel agency solutions, where he oversaw all aspects of the business unit, including sales and service organizations in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. Under his leadership, travel agency solutions focused on cost reduction through reinvention, while increasing customer satisfaction and growing bookings share.
Stow also has served as senior vice president and general manager for electronic travel distribution and senior vice president of North America sales and service for the Sabre Holdings GDS business.
Early in his career, Stow worked for more than 14 years at IBM in a variety of marketing and sales positions. Subsequent roles include president and CEO of Encompass, AMR’s global logistics venture with CSX, and he vice president of marketing for AMR Information Services.
Stow earned a bachelor's degree in operations research and statistics from California State University in Long Beach. He also completed more than 30 units of post-graduate work in business and marketing.
