Jay Jones |
As senior vice president of Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico for Sabre Travel Network, Jay Jones is responsible for the strategic direction and all activities in the region, including sales, customer service, marketing, finance and operations.
Formerly, Jones was general director of Sabre Mexico, and most recently led Sabre Travel Network’s joint venture in Mexico with AeroMexico and Mexicana. Jones also held the position of managing director of strategic alliances, responsible for Sabre’s joint venture negotiations and marketing activities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Jones gained technology experience while serving as an international product manager for computer hardware and several Sabre Holdings software product lines. Before joining Sabre in 1990, he spent four years as a special agent with the U.S. Department of Justice.
Jones earned two bachelor of arts degrees from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in international management from Thunderbird - The Garvin School of International Management in Arizona.
